How does Plantnode help my Continuous Improvement (CI) project?

Continuous Improvement or Kaizen holds that all parts of the organisation must be involved with the project from the shop floor through to the boardroom.

Plantnode supports this by providing visual management feedback to the machine operator via an overhead LED display (which will be seen by supervisors and managers too) and web based reporting to be used by supervisors, managers and directors. 

A key element of Plantnode is that all the reports are accessible to all parties to ensure transparency – the information is for all of the people within the business and not placed into inaccessible silos by department. However, the reports may be manipulated and saved to provide views that may suit each type of user – so a supervisor may need a minute by minute view of machine performance whereas a senior manager may wish to see an aggregated view over the time frame of a week.
 
Additionally, the maintenance department may wish to focus on Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) whilst production will have a keen interest in total product, good product, waste or rework.
