We don’t have production standards, or our standards are out of date, so how can Plantnode help me?

Production standards – the standard time it takes to manufacture a product is important to help you understand the cost of the item and therefore, along with the cost of materials and overheads, if it is profitable to make it. If you don’t have an accurate insight as to the production time then you may be making a loss on every product you make. Or if you do have standards and they are inaccurate then you may be making less than,or if you are lucky, more than you think.

Plantnode gives you detail of the cycle time of each production unit and insight to the changeover times between product. It allows you to see a detailed history of each job and can help you set or review your current standards. If you have standards already they can be read into Plantnode and variances from standard will be captured – and in real time.
